Managing a club within our platform should be a straightforward and enjoyable process. If you've tried to invite a player to your club but their name does not appear in the search, several factors could be influencing this issue. Here’s what you might need to consider:
- Account creation: The player must have an active DUPR account to be added to your club. If they have not yet registered on the platform, they will not appear in the search results.
- Existing requests and invitations: If the player has already requested to join your club or if an invitation has already been sent to them, their name will not appear as an option to invite again. This prevents duplicate requests and maintains the integrity of the invitation process.
- Checking the status of invitations: To verify whether a player has already been invited or has requested to join, you can check the 'Invites' and 'Requests' tabs within your club's dashboard. This section will show you all pending invitations and requests, providing clarity on the status of potential club members.
- Unclaimed accounts: Check if the account you are trying to invite is unclaimed. If it is unclaimed, you will not be able to send the invitation until the owner claims their account. When an account is unclaimed, it does not show age and location, which might be a clue that the account has not yet been activated by its owner.
- Existing membership: Verify that the player isn't already a member of your club. If they are, they will not appear in the invitation search, as they're already part of your club members.
