Maintaining the accuracy of your match history is crucial. Whether you're using the DUPR platform on the web or via the mobile app, you have the ability to reject or validate match results. This process is essential for ensuring that every match recorded in our system accurately reflects true gameplay.
Validation and denial options
After a match is uploaded to DUPR, each participant involved, except for the player who uploaded the match, will need to validate. The players will also receive notification to either validate (confirm) or deny (dispute) the match. This step is crucial for confirming the accuracy of the match results.
Denying a match
If you believe that a match result is incorrect, whether due to a recording error or any other discrepancy, you have the option to deny the match. If any player denies the match, it will be removed from the platform. This measure ensures that inaccurate data does not affect any player’s rating.
Pending validation
After you have validated a match, your options to validate or deny will no longer be visible. The match remains in a 'Pending Validation' state until all other players involved have responded. This status ensures that no changes to the ratings are made until complete consensus is reached among all participants.
Validating a match
If the match results are accurate, you should validate the match. Validation is required by all players involved, except for the one who uploaded the match. The match creator is automatically considered to have validated the match upon submission, streamlining the process. The players who validated will be marked with a blue check next to their name.
Web
Step 1: From the dashboard, proceed to the 'Performance' section. This area contains your match history and detailed performance statistics.
Step 2: In the 'Performance' section, search for the match in question. You can use specific filters to quickly find the match. Once you've found the match, you have the option to either 'Reject' or 'Validate' it. Choose accordingly based on the accuracy of the match details.
App
Step 1: Open the DUPR app and tap on 'My DUPR'. This is where you can view your personal statistics and match history.
Step 2: Scroll through your match history to locate the specific match you need to address.
Step 3: Upon finding the match, you'll have the options to 'Deny' or 'Verify' it. Choose the appropriate action based on whether the match details are correct or not.
What if you can't see the option to validate or deny?
If you find that you're unable to see the options to validate or deny a match, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Match already validated: Once you have validated a match, the options to deny or validate will disappear. If all players have validated the match, it will then impact the ratings accordingly.
- Match denied by another player: If any participant denies the match before you have made your decision, the match will be removed, and no validation options will be available.
- Technical issues: Occasionally, technical issues may prevent the display of these options. In such cases, checking your internet connection, refreshing the page, uninstalling/installing the app, or logging out and back into your account might resolve the issue.
