How to add a match?

Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the platform, accurately recording your matches is crucial for maintaining an up-to-date and reflective player rating. Adding matches through our web or app interfaces is a straightforward process designed to ensure that every game you play contributes to your DUPR. Follow these steps to ensure that your matches are recorded correctly and that your rating accurately represents your skill level on the court.

Step 1: Navigate to your dashboard upon logging into the website. Locate and click on the "New Match" button to initiate the process of recording a new match.

Step 2: On the match entry page, you will be prompted to fill in various details of the match. For a singles match, input the details for one opponent in the "Team 2" field. If the match you are uploading is doubles, start by filling in your partner's information first.

The web platform allows for the submission of multiple matches simultaneously, enhancing efficiency in updating player records.

App

Step 1: Open the app and click on the first icon in the upper right corner of the screen to add a match, then click on “Match.”

Step 2: Enter the relevant details for all players involved in the match. If you are entering a Singles match, you only need to add the opposing player's details. If the match you are uploading is doubles, start by filling in your partner's information first. 

When adding a player, after clicking on the name, you have to click on the blue tick that appears in the upper right corner for it to be added correctly.

Once you add all the players, tap "Next," located in the top right corner, to proceed.

Step 3: Select the format type in which the match was played (e.g., best of three sets, single set). Carefully enter the scores for each set to ensure accuracy. After verifying the scores, tap "Next" to continue.

Step 4: Provide additional details such as the location and name of the event where the match took place. After reviewing all the information for accuracy, tap "Submit" to finalize the match entry. A notification will be sent to all players involved, confirming the addition of the match.
